Travel Hua Hin Detail

Hua Hin is a beach town of Thailand, northern Malay peninsula, 200 kilometers south of Bangkok. It is also one of the 8 districts of Prachuap Khiri Khan province.

Hua Hin borders the Cha-am district of Phetchaburi province to the north, the Gulf of Thailand to the east, Myanmar to the west, and Prachuap Khiri Khan to the south. History records that in 1932, Hua Hin was still a part of Pran Buri district, and in 1949, it was separated into a district of Prachuap Khiri Khan province. After the government built the southern railway of Thailand, Hua Hin became the famous seaside resort town. Over the years of social development, Hua Hin is not only a popular destination for locals but also for its international travelers.

Hua Hin has a tropical humid climate with the hot weather throughout the year. The dry season in Hua Hin lasts from December to April with the monsoon coming in May. The temperature decreases slightly between June and August before the appearance of the heavy rains from September to November. Hence, Hua Hin's most ideal time is from December to June of the next year. This tourist town is located 199 kilometers southwest of Bangkok with many bus routes connected.

In Hua Hin, people often take scenic walks, wander along the coastline, or savor the local food in markets. Popular means of transportation of Thailand such as the motorbike, taxi, and tuk-tuk are also available here to meet the needs of travelers.
